trying to keep to the RP without anymore hiatuses, and I realized we haven't released an official update and current plot info yet. So let's get started with Chapter 2 already, eh?))
It's Rattler's Season. Prey is running decently enough, at least for most of the desert dwellers. Rattle snake bites are more common currently, and have caused a few horrid and untimely deaths, especially among Los Sabuesos. Rumor has it that there are some lobos among Red Ridge who know how to heal the bites, making Los Sabuesos curious and desperate.
The sun is hot and beats down on the backs of many. Thicks are recommended to only go out in the evening. Skins are recommended to take morning dirt and mud baths to protect their skin.
EL ESTRAGO currently struggles to establish territory boundaries with both the elusive pack of Red Ridge, and the stubborn dogs of Los Sabuesos. Despite the inconsistent territory borders, they still seem to keep their bellies full, having a larger expanse of desert and more animals that tend to be lured by their territory's river. For so many years, the desert-dwellers thought this territory as one of poverty and struggle, and yet El Estrago remains strong and fit regardless.
Their current leader is Aster. Their law is nearly fully established, and they even are coming up with their new traditions and trials. More and more hounds seem to have faith in their leader.
The pack is curious and cautious of both the Pack of Red Ridge and the pack of Los Sabuesos, however they seem to be more neutral and perhaps nearing friendly with the lobos of Red Ridge... perhaps an alliance will soon follow?
El Estrago is traveling far each day in hopes of seeking more dogs to join their cause, more dogs who are willing to show that they are worthy.
LOS SABUESOS struggles with finding prey. Although their numbers are great, they likely have equal strength to their enemies among El Estrago because the majority of their pack bares their ribs and seems to be weakened. However, they are not at a point of fatal starvation, only problems with rationing. They should survive, just as they have managed to in all of these years prior... as long as all continue to contribute and don't half-tail their daily pack duties. Los Sabuesos is cracking down on their borders, with prey not running as well they are more harsh about them than ever. Currently the pack has orders to attack any intruders who don't leave after their first and only warning.
Their pack leader is Carolina, and he has some members who seek to challenge him given the pack's recent struggles. Remember that all dogs are welcome to challenge their leader in Los Sabuesos, to claim the rank.
There is talk that Los Sabuesos intends to spy or even just straight up confront the pack of El Estrago, but not any plans of attack.
THE RED RIDGERS seem to be leading their normal lives. Herbs are flourishing this season, allowing most of the pack to be in good health. The recent birth of (insert pups) helps in the pack's growth, though they are admittedly a dying breed. This has lead some of the pack to be curious of outsider dogs, in hopes of spreading their bloodline. Still, they are cautious of the new pack of hounds on their territory, and seem to fear competition.
Their leaders currently are Matamoros and his mate Bronagh
SOME OTHER NOTES... A strange, large red dog has been reported to be wandering Red Ridge and seeking out small patrols and loners to join his small following. What is he up to? Will you join him?
